I think this produces really great, professional-looking slideshows. I would love to use it for a work project, but I’m concerned about uploading copyrighted images, which is why I have avoided services like flickr. How are the images I upload to slidez stored? Are they made accessible to anyone else, like adding your images to flickr?

Slidez keeps your images private. The image names are being encrypted so nobody can guess the image name. For example see this image: http://s3.amazonaws.com/slidez_original/7e2c3c25a750e4c0da88336ade518cda182007041923281315545.png

Your presentations are still accessable to anybody at the moment if you know the link to it. In the next release of slidez you can protect your presentation with a PIN code.
