Uploader hangs on "preparing..."

I’ve been attempting to upload several images today. Often when I click on the “uploader” tab, it hangs on “preparing uploader” and nothing happens. If I refresh the web page, it sometimes helps and sometimes doesn’t. Any ideas?

same issue. Images wont upload.

It holds on “uploading your images” and “retry” appears in red under the progress bar.
